Welcome to the Center for Computational Engineering Science
The Center for Computational Engineering Science (CCES) stimulates interdisciplinary activities linking fundamental and applied research in the field of computational engineering science, where considerable scientific advances are anticipated due to the application of mathematical modeling methods and modern computational techniques to challenging engineering problems.
The CCES is directed by Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Marquardt
All CCES members are involved in numerous collaborative research projects.
For a better overview, the projects are listed according to the institutes: All Projects
CCES is a collaborative effort of 22 regular and associated institutes from 5 faculties: mathematics, computer science and natural sciences; mechanical engineering; georecources and materials engineering; electrical engineering; and medicine.
